At the age of 6 my dad bought me my first computer. It was a 8086 xt with a 4 shades of green display and 2 5.25″ floppy disks and around 512Kb of memory. After having enough of golden Axe, ally Cat and other nostalgic games I’ve met my first programing language – Logo. the challenges in the book looks more like a game to me than programing, but today I know that they were recursive functions.
From there I’ve moved to Basic at the age of 9 and then to turbo Pascal at the age of 12 – but it always stayed more as a hobby. at the age of 21 I’ve finally met c++, and one would think that C# and ASP would be the obvious course, but at then I’ve made the move to Linux (Mandrake 8 at the beginning, now ubuntu) making PHP and JAVA my main programing languages.
I’ve been working with wordpress for about 4 years now, and I’m mostly deal with customization and localization of themes and plugins and adaptation to RTL languages like Hebrew or Arabic. I also do custom Wordpress jobs such as converting XHTML skeleton to a Wordpress theme, converting PSD to Wordpress theme and writing Wordpress plugins.
